Tomorrow I take off for an adventure in Santiago, Chile. I'm excited, but my poor body is getting worn out and confused from all the traveling lately - San Antonio, Canada (snow!), home for a weekend, and now Santiago for two. The weather should be... gorgeous! (http://bit.ly/62V66b).

I'm excited for the trip, but not for the long flight, new airport security measures and the Chilean Customs strike (http://bit.ly/4vaKRk) between here and there! Hopefully I'll be able to blog regularly to share photos & adventures!

ReplyDeleteAnd in other good news, it looks like the customs workers came to an agreement and the strike is off! (apparently I can't post links to website in a comment, but I just read it in an article in La Nación that things are back to normal as of today)
I had no idea there was a customs worker strike. I hope they're not dangerous. Great blog! I appreciate the link to the English language Santiago newspaper - Great Find!
